The Bully and The Bullied

I have grown now, in wisdom and stature. I have been bullied then. I also have been bullied a few months ago, but it all ended because I decided to QUIT. For the first time in my life, I have decided to QUIT on something. Before, I would never quit, and sometimes you would even see me whine or cross my eyebrows and fill my day with endless complains. I have learned the importance of QUITTING, through prayers, support from friends and family, and through reading countless books about self help. It is sometimes necessary to quit because if what you are doing now would hinder you from growing physically, spiritually, emotionally, or career-wise, it is a good decision to quit and do something to put you back again to the path you want to take.

I have grown in an era when every year, a Japanese Super Sentai series would be released, and some of those series would be translated and dubbed into Filipino (National Language of the Philippines). I just love those series. I would be doing good in school and wait for 5 days (we were not allowed to watch TV on weekdays) so that I can view the weekly TV series about those good guys kicking the butts of bad guys. Sometimes, even though I was doing well at school, my parents would not allow me and my brother to watch my most awaited part of the weekends. The reasons are countless and I dare not share them with you. I might just cry in secret like what I did every time we were bid not to watch those Japanese Super Sentai series, then I would grow tired of crying and fall asleep.

I was quite a very imaginative kid, even until now, assuming that I'm still a kid. In my opinion, I'm still a kid because I wasn't able to have a good childhood experience anyway and the rest of my life will be spent on fulfilling my childhood dreams and being as happy as I could be. Since I was bullied a lot in school, I would always imagine that the heroes in my favorite Japanese Super Sentai series would come out of the blue and start kicking the butts who have done me wrong. Maybe my focus wasn't that great, because I never saw them kicking their butts up to this day.

These are just a few of my favorite TV shows back then, and even up to this day. I am planning to buy the DVD version of these shows. If you have any idea where I could purchase them, please tell me. It would make this child in me happy.
