Today is the eve of the Chinese New Year and I would normally say, "Kung hei fat choi" to my cat and to myself.
Today is no exception. Having been feeling overwhelmed the day before, everybody's normal cycle of blues came to pay me a visit.
Since today is one of my favorite days of the year, I went off looking for lions and a dragon. They will surely kick my blues away!
It is my yearly ritual to watch the lion and dragon dance in the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on the eve of Chinese New Year.
Paired with the lively Chinese beat, the lions and solo dragon danced the night away. They even made the kids happy and scared at the same time! As always, the dragon kept on chasing the elusive lollipop. I wonder what's so special with the lollipop. It could be a dragon ball, don't you think?
With the performances of the Cebu Wu Shu Federation, the things I saw made me believe that my eyes are chinky, at least just for today only.
Sealing off the wonderful night is fireworks display that painted the night sky with numerous colors, enough to kick the jam out of you!
The best way to summarize the event is by viewing my photos in Facebook.
Kung hei fat choi everyone!
P.S.
Thank you Caren and Mate for the dinner treat! Yum yum! ^_^
