Megaworld, being the trendsetter that they are, finally brought their tried and tested "township" formula to Cebu. Thus, Mactan Newtown came about as a vision of developing the "live-work-play" lifestyle concept in the Visayas. To seal this vision into reality, Megaworld Chairman Andrew L. Tan, together with President Benigno S. Aquino III, led it's inauguration today. The rain may have dampen the island of Cebu but not the heart of Megaworld.
Megaworld will be investing 20 billion Pesos to complete the township, which is complete with residential condominiums, office spaces, world-class mall, and Richmonde Hotel, a sports and leisure facility.
