January 7, 2013 proved to be a memorable day for Mactan Island because a well-known international brand finally graced their shores. McDonald's formally opened to the public after their successful soft launching. Spearheading the occasion is Mr. Eugene Redocindo (Managing Director of Choice Gourmet Banquet Inc.) and Mr. Noli D. Hernandez (President of Megaworld Cebu) with both of them admitting that 2013 is a very exciting year.

McDonald's holds a 2-storey space in the stunningly beautiful Mactan Newtown building. Upon entering the restaurant, you can't help but notice the beautiful and brightly-colored murals on the wall, which makes the venue very vibrant.
With a seating capacity of 300-350, this branch of McDonald's is the largest in Visayas, of which the 1st floor can hold 180 seats. Matching this seating capacity are equally colorful and fun chairs as well as family-sized tables to accommodate the whole family! Watch out for the opening of their Party Place this February which is great for birthday parties or other functions. It can accommodate 80-90 guests.
