This is a youth heritage event which is on it's fourth year already. Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) partnered with University of San Carlos (USC) - Department of Anthropology, Sociology and History and Cebu City Government to make this event possible.
The aim of this event is to allow the students to make connection with their learning about culture, history, and society by making them visit numerous museums and heritage sites.
The following are the museums and heritage sites that are part of the event: Casa Gorordo Museum, Cathedral Museum of Cebu, Cebu City Museum, Cebu Normal University Museum, Jose R. Gullas Halad Museum, Fort San Pedro, Museo Sugbo, Museo Parian sa Sugbo, Sacred Heart Church–Alternative Contemporary Arts Studio, University of Southern Philippines Foundation–Rizaliana Museum, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Cebu Heritage Monument, Colon Obelisk, Magellan’s Cross, Plaza Hamabar, Plaza Independencia, Plaza Sugbo, and San Nicholas Church.
Due to bad weather conditions, Fretz Villanueva (my fellow blogger from Cebu Bloggers Society) and I were not able to visit all the said venues. The Culminating Program at Plaza Independencia was also cancelled.
Our first location was Casa Gorordo. It is an old house right across the RAFI Building. As we entered the vicinity, we couldn't help but notice the old yet tranquil atmosphere. We were like transported back in time because the students of University of San Carlos were wearing costumes from the Spanish Era. Fretz even met his friend there.

After we were done in Casa Gorordo, it suddenly rained very hard so we decided to take some shelter and the nearest one was the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House. We were not able to take photos because the owner was being interviewed by Cebu Daily News while we were there.

The rain slowed a bit, so we decided to go to the next stop, which was the Cathedral Museum of Cebu. The museum used to be the house of Cardinal Vidal while he was still the parish priest of Cebu Cathedral. The museum houses his old costumes and belongings, as well as various artifacts and antiques.

We actually planned to ride the kalesa but we were not able to because of the rain. Maybe next year we could finally do that. We had to cancel visiting the other sites because the sky was crying the whole afternoon.
While we were stuck in the Yap-Sandiego House, I kept on singing a famous children's song.
Rain, rain go away.
Come again another day.
